The Mission

The mission was never to prove man wrong but Prove God Right. Follow along on this mission of chasing God's will in each and every one of our lives.

The founder for this mission is Benjamin Humrichous. This may be considered Ben's story but it is really the story of how God has worked in Ben's life. Born and raised in the small town of Tipton, Indiana, Ben has always had big basketball dreams. Out of high school, Ben accepted a scholarship to play basketball at Huntington University, an NAIA school in northeast Indiana. Ben cherished his three years but he always had the dream of playing Division 1 basketball. Through a lot of prayer and guidance, Ben entered the transfer portal in the spring of 2023. The transfer portal brought many challenges as few Division 1 programs reached out or contacted Ben. In God's time, the University of Evansville reached out. Through many conversations and a visit, UE seemed to be a great fit. 

Through the portal, Ben decided to chase his Division 1 dream and transferred to the University of Evansville. Through God's strength and guidance, Ben went on to contribute for Evansville and the team went on to have a very successful year of growth. During the year, a reporter asked Ben, "How does it feel to have this chip on your shoulder when few people reached out through the portal? There must be such a desire to prove all these people wrong?" This honest question really challenged Ben's heart and he started to realize that this life, especially the game of basketball, was never about proving people wrong but proving God right.

So, this mission came about. The mission is to Prove God Right in every area of our lives. This means that we, as believers, should continually be seeking God's will for our lives. As we chase this pursuit, we are following God's plan. You don't have to be an athlete like Ben in order to chase God's will, this applies to everyone.
